Here is how to enable or disable the requirement to press CTRL+ALT+DEL when logging into Windows:

(Tested on Windows 7)

• • Open the Start Menu, then type regedit in the search box and press Enter.

  • In regedit, navigate to the location below.

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

  • In the right pane, right double-click on DisableCAD.

  • To enable CTRL+ALT+DEL for Windows login, enter the number zero (0) for Value data.

  • To disable CTRL+ALT+DEL for Windows login, enter the number one (1) for Value data.

  • Close regedit.
